You and I

It is written in the heavens that you and I would meet.

Our walk through life would led us to one another,

Our hearts and souls would be together as one.

We're as night is to day, as the sun is to the moon.

We're all things good and bad, we are love and hate.

We're the lands and the oceans; we are each other's angels.

We have the ability to soar high above the clouds,

Also to crash to the ground and burn.

We're happiness at it's best, and sorrow at it's worst.

We're each other, one and the same, we are one.

We're the mountains to climb, and the seas to explore.

We're a whisper on the wind; we're the loud clash of thunder.

We're each other's keeper, and each other's tormentor.

We give to one another, and take away from one another.

We embrace each other, and shame each other.

We're the universes, yet we are nothing.

We're a soft spring rain, and a raging river.

We have the ability to build, and to be destructive.

We know how to heal, and to cause suffering.

We have the ability to give life, as well as to take it.

We're the keepers of this earth and the destroyer's.

We're the planters and the reapers.

We are those who pray to God for guidance and help,

And we are the ones who curse Him when things don't go the way we want.

It is written in the heavens that you and I will account for our actions!
